Establish cyber-risk priorities, policies, standards, metrics, third-party risk management, incident response, crisis coordination, and remediation governance; support timely escalation and assessment of incidents and disclosure readiness, and protect resident health and other information, associate data, and corporate systems under HIPAA, SOX, and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure appropriate data governance, controls, analytics enablement, and audit-readiness for systems supporting a publicly traded company's financial reporting obligations, which also underpin future AI initiatives.
- Lead change management and associate enablement to drive responsible technology adoption across a large, distributed workforce of corporate and community-based associates.
- Provide decision-oriented Board of Directors and Audit Committee (as applicable) reporting on strategy, cyber/resilience, material risks, investments, controls, outcomes, talent, and emerging technology, with appropriate direct access.
- Champion a broader digital transformation agenda, delivering measurable improvements across resident/family experience, care, workforce, community operations, sales and marketing, analytics, productivity, and corporate services through shared executive accountability.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing IT organization, including infrastructure, applications, security, data, and AI-enabled technology capabilities.
