About the Role
Our client is a publicly traded industrial technology organization scaling its operations and seeking a strategic finance leader to help elevate the organization. This role goes beyond traditional accounting leadership, as the CFO will partner closely with executive leadership, lead public company reporting initiatives, support capital markets activities, strengthen financial processes, and help position the company for long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Public Company Financial Leadership
- Lead SEC reporting and public company compliance.
- Ensure timely preparation of SEC filings.
- Improve disclosure controls and reporting processes.
- Maintain SOX-ready financial controls and governance practices.
- Partner with external auditors throughout quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Capital Markets & Investor Relations
- Serve as the primary financial partner to the CEO and Board.
- Participate in debt and equity financing activities.
- Support investor communications and shareholder presentations.
- Interface with investment banks and institutional investors.
- Assist with shelf registrations and other capital markets initiatives.
- Oversee warrant accounting and equity-related activities.
- Strategic Finance
- Drive financial planning and long-term strategy.
- Develop KPI reporting and executive dashboards.
- Improve budgeting and forecasting.
- Evaluate capital allocation opportunities.
- Partner with leadership on growth initiatives.
- Operational Leadership
- Lead the accounting and finance organization.
- Develop the Controller and finance team.
- Improve collaboration across Operations, Manufacturing, HR, IT, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.
- Implement scalable financial processes as the company grows.
Pay
$200K - $300K base salary, dependent on experience.
