About the role
Page Executive has been engaged on an exclusive basis to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a rapidly growing construction business based in Boston, MA. This search is for a high impact finance leader to join a business that has experienced significant expansion and is entering its next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance function, implementing best practice processes and controls
- Oversee all accounting, reporting and financial planning activities
- Drive improvements in financial systems, data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support commercial decision making
- Manage cash flow, forecasting and working capital effectively
- Support bonding requirements and relationships with external stakeholders
- Provide leadership during continued growth, including potential system enhancements and operational scaling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA (ideal but not essential)
- Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within the construction or contracting sector is essential
- Strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to operate both strategically and hands on
- Experience improving and stabilizing finance functions in high growth or evolving environments
- Confident, resilient and decisive, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a dynamic setting that requires adaptability and ownership
- Strong systems experience, with exposure to construction accounting platforms advantageous
- Ability to be in-office 4 days per week

- Base salary up to $240,000 to $250,000
