About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead and oversee the company's financial operations to support long-term business objectives, maximize financial performance, and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership and the board of directors.
Responsibilities
- Leading and overseeing the company’s financial operations to support long-term business objectives, maximize financial performance, and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Evaluating financial performance, supporting mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business opportunities.
- Improving accounting processes and ERP system utilization, strengthening consistency across locations.
- Partnering with corporate and location financial teams, maintaining external financial relationships, and leading cross-functional initiatives that improve finance, accounting, operations, and information technology processes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business is required, along with 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience in a multi-plant environment.
- A Master of Business Administration is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, treasury, cash management, budgeting, financial reporting, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and advanced ERP systems is required.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business is required, along with 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience in a multi-plant environment. A Master of Business Administration is strongly preferred.
