About the role
The CFOO will provide leadership, oversight, and stewardship for all aspects of NMH's financial resources and the organization's physical assets. They will ensure absolute institutional integrity on fiscal matters and promote best practices in finance and administration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the business office (accounting, finance, and investments)
- Direct reports from the business office, dining services, facilities and grounds, human resources, safety, technology, and the NMH farm
- Serve as the staff liaison on several board committees, including Finance, Investment, Buildings and Grounds, Audit and Risk, and others as prescribed by the Head of School
Requirements
Experience in finance and operations management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing budgets. Strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role
