About the role

The Arc Westchester is seeking a seasoned, mission and values-driven executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The successful candidate will bring experience, presence, and maturity aligned with the organization's scale, community standing, and values.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with mission, values, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.
• Set and advance organizational strategy.
• Oversee execution of the strategic plan.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered services across a complex service portfolio.
• Ensure the organization remains well-positioned to respond to emerging opportunities and challenges.
• Oversight of a complex, multi-service organization with a significant geographic footprint, a large and diverse workforce, and a funding structure heavily reliant on public reimbursement.

Requirements

• Experience in executive leadership roles.
• Strong strategic judgment and emotional intelligence.
• Deep commitment to advancing the lives of people with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, public administration, disability studies).
• Proven track record of leadership and management in a non-profit setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
• Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) field.
