Job Responsibilities
- Strategic vision & leadership: Refine and implement the strategic plan with the Board and Leadership Team; lead long-range planning for facilities and locations so the agency stays proximate to our neighbors.
- Finance: Partner with the CFO on the annual budget and monthly reporting; set financial priorities that support programming and staff.
- Fundraising & community engagement: Cultivate the funding NNH needs, carry a portfolio of major donor relationships, serve as spokesperson, and equip the board in its fundraising role.
- Board governance & partnership: Serve as primary liaison to the Board; support recruitment, onboarding, and development; partner with the Board Chair on meaningful agendas.
- Infrastructure & operations: Ensure high-quality services while managing for growth; build an engaged, inclusive work environment through strong internal communication.
- Data, outcomes & improvement: Own agency outcomes and report quarterly to the board, using data to drive decisions and share NNH's impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ten+ years progressive experience, incl. five in senior leadership
- Fundraising, board development, marketing, and fiscal management
- Nonprofit multi-site experience preferred; comparable private-sector executives equally considered
- Experience with volunteers is ideal
