Chief Executive Officer | Mid Michigan Industries | Central MichiganMMI is looking for a CEO who believes people with disabilities should have meaningful choices and opportunities in their communities. The next CEO will lead an experienced team, work closely with the Board, and help MMI sustain high-quality services across Central Michigan.This leader will balance the day-to-day needs of staff and people served with long-term financial stewardship. The role calls for clear communication, thoughtful decisions, strong relationships with public funders and community partners, and active leadership in fundraising. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Board on strategy, accountability, finances, and risk.Lead the Chief Program Officer and Chief Operating Officer and support a capable, engaged workforce.Oversee service quality, compliance, performance measurement, and safe operations.Build sustainable revenue through contracts, fundraising, grants, and donor relationships.Represent MMI across the region and advocate for inclusion. QualificationsA related bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and directly relevant executive experience is required, along with at least five years of progressively responsible leadership, including five years in a senior executive or comparable agency-wide role. Candidates should bring board partnership, financial and operational leadership, experience with change and external relationships, and a commitment to the rights and autonomy of people with disabilities. A valid driver’s license and regular travel are required. A related master’s degree, Michigan disability-service experience, fundraising, and financial stabilization experience are preferred. Compensation and benefits: $115,000-$125,000. Generous PTO, Life Insurance, 401K, medical, dental, vision. 10-paid holiday per year. Work location and schedule: In-person work in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
