About the role

The Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County (JWB) seeks an accomplished executive leader to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). JWB is a high-performing, data-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through 98 quality programs provided by 51 agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the organization
• Lead implementation of the Board's adopted Strategic Plan
• Direct an Executive Leadership Team
• Cultivate relationships with community partners and elected officials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Business, Public Administration, Education, or related field is required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Seven or more years of executive leadership experience in a mission-driven environment, preferably one related to families and children.
• Executive leadership of organizations with budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Experience in government, nonprofit, human services, education, or related sectors is highly preferred.
• Developing strategic plans and successful implementation including measurable outcomes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Residency within the Tampa Bay area is required.
• The hiring range is $200,000–$245,000 + depending on qualifications and experience.
