Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the company’s vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals, OKRs, and operating plans.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing executive leadership team.
- Partner with the board of directors to align on strategy, risk, and performance.
- Ensure effective governance, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders (investors, customers, partners, regulators, community).
- Own and monitor financial performance: revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, capital allocation.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Lead fundraising, investor relations, and capital strategy as applicable.
- Optimize organizational structure, processes, and culture to enable scalable execution.
- Drive product/service quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Implement data-driven decision-making and a culture of accountability.
- Attract, retain, and develop top leadership and critical capabilities.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with core values.
- Steward succession planning and leadership development.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, financial, regulatory, and operational risks.
- Ensure robust internal controls, cybersecurity, and data governance where relevant.
- Serve as the chief spokesperson and brand ambassador.
- Lead strategic partnerships, alliances, and market expansion efforts.
- Lead investments in R&D, product innovation, and go-to-market strategy.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategy to sustain differentiation.
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs aligned with strategy and stakeholder expectations.
- Establish a cadence of reviews with the board and leadership team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Relevant professional certifications may be considered.
- Experience: 15+ years in senior leadership roles; proven track record of [revenue growth, profitability, scaling businesses, market expansion, fundraising] in [industry/sector].
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience building and leading diverse, high-performing teams; strong change management capabilities.
