What this job involves
- Create and conduct the overall maintenance service process for the campus/university.
- Manage the skilled labor to provide routine maintenance for all assets.
- Cookordinate the tools and equipment needed for all services rendered.
- Manage all 3rd party vendors performing work on campus for JLL.
- Conduct routine audits of work performed and of the asset's ability for life cycle judgement.
- Provide client with deferred maintenance proposals of assets that are close to being out of life or are out of life.
- Provide training to associates that need assistance to perform.
- Direct the team to perform services at the quality level of the JLL expectation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial building operations and facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety systems, and building automation systems (BMS/BAS)
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing engineering teams in complex, multi-site environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS)
