What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage all aspects of fund development
- Cultivate key donor relationships
- Lead transformational fundraising efforts
- Strengthen Habitat’s philanthropic partnerships
- Develop and implement bold, comprehensive fundraising strategies
- Spearhead major gifts, capital campaigns, corporate sponsorships, planned giving, and grant funding efforts
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of a high-impact development program
- Ensure fundraising and engagement efforts align with the organization’s long-term vision and impact
- Regularly analyze and report fundraising performance to leadership and key stakeholders
- Develop a high-impact marketing and communications strategy
- Serve as a dynamic spokesperson and thought leader
Who You Are
- CFRE certification preferred
- 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience, including major gifts and multi-year campaigns
- 4+ years of executive-level management experience in nonprofit development, marketing, or philanthropy
- Demonstrated success in securing transformational 5-7 figure gifts and building lasting donor relationships
- Expertise in corporate partnerships, grant development, and planned giving strategies
- Strong knowledge of community engagement, marketing, and donor cultivation best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field
- Proficiency in CRMs, Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, and marketing software
- Exceptional public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a passion for advocacy
- Able to engage diverse audiences with authenticity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
