What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage all aspects of fund development
  • Cultivate key donor relationships
  • Lead transformational fundraising efforts
  • Strengthen Habitat’s philanthropic partnerships
  • Develop and implement bold, comprehensive fundraising strategies
  • Spearhead major gifts, capital campaigns, corporate sponsorships, planned giving, and grant funding efforts
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of a high-impact development program
  • Ensure fundraising and engagement efforts align with the organization’s long-term vision and impact
  • Regularly analyze and report fundraising performance to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Develop a high-impact marketing and communications strategy
  • Serve as a dynamic spokesperson and thought leader

Who You Are

  • CFRE certification preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience, including major gifts and multi-year campaigns
  • 4+ years of executive-level management experience in nonprofit development, marketing, or philanthropy
  • Demonstrated success in securing transformational 5-7 figure gifts and building lasting donor relationships
  • Expertise in corporate partnerships, grant development, and planned giving strategies
  • Strong knowledge of community engagement, marketing, and donor cultivation best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CRMs, Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, and marketing software
  • Exceptional public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a passion for advocacy
  • Able to engage diverse audiences with authenticity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
