Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of the CRNA team, ensuring efficient daily operations and appropriate clinical staffing.
- Develop and manage CRNA schedules to support operating room efficiency and patient care needs.
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and retention of CRNA staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by serving as the liaison between CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing leadership, and perioperative services.
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Participate in departmental leadership meetings, strategic planning, budget discussions, and operational initiatives.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to advance departmental goals and organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Nurse Anesthesia.
- Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNA licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical CRNA experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.
