Chief Business Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing operational strategies to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of each company within the portfolio.
• Guiding the executive teams of each portfolio company in maximizing their performance and operational effectiveness.
• Monitoring the performance of each company against key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals, and taking corrective action when necessary.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the management teams of each portfolio company, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Addressing operational challenges within each portfolio company swiftly and effectively.
• Implementing operational best practices and driving efficiency improvements to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
• Managing the financial health of the portfolio companies. This includes budgeting, financial forecasting, and monitoring financial performance.

• Strong background: Strong background in operational management, with expertise in strategic planning, problem resolution, and financial governance.
• Leadership and communication skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
• Advanced degree: Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
