About the Role

Sound Anesthesia is partnering with Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach, FL to bring enhanced clinical excellence to the local community. This role emphasizes professional growth, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a vibrant coastal community.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and postoperative care for general, orthopedic (including spine), and OB/GYN services at Sacred Heart Emerald Coast.
• As Chief Anesthesiologist, establish and maintain anesthesia care standards in collaboration with the facility’s medical staff, including initiating medical care evaluation studies to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care within the department, taking corrective action as needed.
• Represent the anesthesia department on the facility’s Medical Staff, serve as a liaison between departments, and report on department activities at committee and general meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons.

Schedule

• 1:5 physician rotation with a guaranteed post-call day off.
• Home call.
• 10 weeks guaranteed off annually.

Qualifications

• Completion of a U.S. residency program.
• Board certification in Anesthesia.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary of $575,000–$615,000 with opportunities to maximize income.
• Annual chief stipend of $30,000 for administrative duties.
• $100,000 commencement bonus.
• Flexible employment options: W2 or 1099.
