About the role

Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant to join our growing team. As an Experienced Consultant, you’ll receive excellent training and meaningful mentorship to deepen your understanding of business processes and build technical skills. You’ll conduct interviews, compile and analyze data, document findings, and develop professional relationships through interaction with client and project team personnel. You’ll learn time and project management and take ownership of assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on technology-related topics, including:
    • Cybersecurity

  • Gather, summarize, and examine data.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and project teams to contribute to exceptional client service.
  • Document findings and summarize recommendations.
  • Leverage AI to enhance personal productivity as well as internal audit and SOX activities, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience with or understanding of:
    • IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
    • Commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
    • Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, particularly the technology implications and requirements.
    • Latest trends and developments in data and technology, including cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), disaster recovery, and systems development methodologies.
    • Analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML, etc.).
  • Interest in working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
  • Eagerness to learn clients’ businesses and industries to build business knowledge and skills.
  • Facilitate teamwork by contributing to team effort, sharing responsibility for team results, and exhibiting a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field).
  • 1+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions is a plus.
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar is a plus.

Work Environment

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, combining in-person work with remote flexibility. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Work may include local or out-of-state travel based on project and client needs.

Pay

Starting salary range: $66,000.00 - $99,000.00 (full-time equivalent). Placement in the range depends on experience, skills, and geographic work location.

Annual bonus target opportunity: $2,000. Estimated total cash range: $68,000.00 - $101,000.00.
