Chicago Office- Labor & Employment Associate

About the role

The Labor & Employment associate will be based in Winston Taylor's Chicago office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate cases in Illinois state and federal courts
• Counsel clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Draft employment agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks
• Assist with investigations into employment-related disputes

Requirements

• At least three years of employment litigation experience
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar

Qualifications

• Strong case management, research, and writing skills

Skills

• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Experience managing and coordinating cases in Illinois state and federal courts
• Ability to counsel clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Proficiency in drafting employment agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks
• Experience assisting with investigations into employment-related disputes
