Chest Imaging (Remote Position): Flexible and Customizable Schedules
About the role
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School seeks fellowship-trained radiologists in chest or abdominal imaging for full-time or part-time remote positions. The ideal candidate will integrate into the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT), focusing predominantly on chest imaging, including chest X-rays, oncologic chest CT studies, and lung cancer screening studies. Interstitial lung disease cases are also available to candidates with interest.
Responsibilities
- Interpret chest and abdominal imaging studies
- Collaborate with successful candidates to compose physician schedules that optimize work-life balance
- Participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision
- Utilize state-of-the-art clinical equipment across the enterprise
Requirements
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) Board-certified/eligible
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
- Candidates with subspecialty training are desired

Schedule
Candidate schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. Available schedules include a 26 weeks on 26 weeks off pattern with 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm weekend/holiday shifts, totaling 182 shifts of clinical duty per year. Additional schedules may involve evening work and multispecialty imaging.
