CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS AND PHYSICAL SCIENCE TEACHER

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper School Science Teacher to join our team. This full-time, onsite position involves teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Physical Science to high/middle school students. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting students in developing strong science skills and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons and labs in Physics, Chemistry, and Physical Science
• Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and growth
• Absess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong content knowledge in upper-level high school science
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching and supporting student success
