Chemistry Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Technician to join our team. This is a contract position based out of Rosemount, MN, working onsite in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab work including specific gravity, titrations, and pH testing.
• Act as receipt of raw materials by reviewing shipping documentation and Certificates of Analysis (COA), verifying against internal specifications.
• Test raw materials as required by QA/QC and release for use by Production, including Specific Gravity, pH, Wet Chemistry assays, and trace materials using AA or HPLC.
• Issue and review batch records for manufacturing and packaging.
• Issue labels and seals as controlled documents, store label stock securely, and print and review labels with the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain a log for issued seals and upload lab results to the database, creating CofAs.
• Review and test finished bulk products to ensure quality standards, conducting tests before product mixes are transferred to storage tanks or packaging containers.
• Engage in in-process and finished goods testing, including packaging inspection and visual inspection of finished goods.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry is preferred.

Skills

• Familiarity with lab techniques such as pipetting and wet chemistry.
• Understanding of batch records and working within a GMP environment is a plus.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
