What You'll Do

  • Design, solve, and review advanced chemistry problems with genuine real-world complexity and scientific depth.
  • Apply your expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to craft challenging, high-quality problem statements.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve AI model reasoning in the sciences.
  • Evaluate AI-generated chemistry content for scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and precision.
  • Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace — fully on your own schedule.

Who You Are

  • Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
  • Deep expertise in at least one of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
  • Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry software such as Gaussian or VASP.
  • Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex chemistry clearly and precisely.
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, systematic approach to scientific problems.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows.
  • Familiarity with computational modeling, simulation, or cheminformatics tools.
  • Background in academic research, scientific publishing, or curriculum development.
  • Experience reviewing or writing technical scientific content for diverse audiences.
