What will you do?
- Develop and improve chemical products used in a variety of manufacturing and mechanical systems in order to enhance processes, safety and quality in order to meet customer needs and provide solutions to application problems.
- Independently carry out tests and determinations, in order to answer questions and address problems of customers.
- Work on a product development project assigned by the manager.
- Execute analytical tests in order to determine quantitative and qualitative composition of raw materials, formulations, competitive products and other chemical (field) samples.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- There are no managerial responsibilities for this position but may occasionally train and guide more junior level chemists and trainees in the Development Laboratory.

Required Education and Experience
- At least 5+ years related chemistry experience required.
- Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD and experience will be considered.
- This position requires a degree Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.
- Knowledge of colloid chemistry, surfactants, and tribology is required.
- Experience with the formulation of lubricant fluids and field support is highly desired.
- Must have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, to work on different projects at the same time, and to think analytically.
