Target PR Range: $32–$42/hr depending on experience.
About the role
Apply analytical separation and detection modes for complex impurity profiling of pharmaceutical products to further the understanding of emerging cGMP manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.
- Independently generate precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Document experimentation per regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills; possess understanding of core discipline.
- Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters.
- Ensure safety and GxP requirements are met when performing tasks.
- Ensure timely and GxP-compliant delivery of high-quality, precise data.
- Apply basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument-related systems.
- Present findings of defined experiments to larger audiences.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or related field:
- BA/BS with minimum 5+ years lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred);
- Master’s degree with minimum 2+ years lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred);
- PhD with 5+ years of academic and/or industry research experience.
- Experienced use of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, and chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, OpenLab, Chromeleon).
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with GMP, GLP.
- Able to present experimental findings to larger groups.
- Strong communication skills.
