Job Summary
About the role
This role is based in Clackamas, OR.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical analyses of dietary supplement materials, including raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, using approved analytical methods.
- Utilize instrumentation including HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Vis, GC-FID, and ICP-MS to generate accurate and reliable results in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions in accordance with approved procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records, including calculations and supporting documentation, to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with investigations of non-conformances under the guidance of senior staff or leadership.
- Aid in method verifications and implementation of laboratory procedures as assigned.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Participate in training activities and continued development of technical skills.
- Collaborate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Successfully complete and maintain all required training, certifications, qualifications, and periodic requalifications necessary to support compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC, and cGMP requirements.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Exposure to ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC, cGMP, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Some technical writing and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g., MS office Suite).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits
Salary Range: 52,556.00 - 75,080.00 USD
