Chemical Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- Support audits
- Manage customer questionnaires
- Maintain quality documentation
- Conduct quality investigations
- Perform root cause analysis
- Implement corrective actions
- Interact directly with customers
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
- Participate in customer audits and compliance activities
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience in quality investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Knowledge of chemical engineering or chemistry
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and requirements
- Experience in supplier and customer quality management
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with APQP, 5 Why's, and Fish Bone methodologies
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Haven, CT.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:

Work Environment
This role is based onsite Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with 75% of the time spent in the office and 25% on the shop floor. There is a requirement for quarterly travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally.
