Chemical Operator, Monday-Friday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

Our site in Aurora is seeking a Chemical Operations Associate to join our team in the slurry division. This is an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce, package, and prepare Entegris products for shipment.
• Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.
• Receive raw material and containers.
• Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform required quality testing and inspections.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, or policies.
• Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
• Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse-related tasks (e.g., cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates leadership ability and team-building skills.
• Mechanical or chemistry-related experience, hobbies, or interests.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, and knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. manually and wear a respirator intermittently as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in a related industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (overtime may be required as per business needs).
• Weekend shifts may vary when needed.
