Trouble shooting to correct problems within their work area is critical. The jobholder will use predefined processes and follow procedures to produce quality products. The operator works as part of a team that requires good communication skills and the ability to work well with others to solve problems and reduce production time safely. All job functions must be conducted using all safety and environmental procedures and systems. Accurate reporting and manual data entries is critical. Essential Duties & Responsibilities with % Breakdown: Identify the major activities or responsibilities of the job (usually 4 to 6). Using a short phrase name or list each activity; estimate the percentage of time spent on each one. Then describe each activity in detail, and how it is done. Use increments of 10% and higher. Safely perform all required field duties to ensure proper production: Follow recipes, processes, procedures to effectively and efficiently produce product.Pulls samples for testing in QC lab and makes decisions on test results.Understand and may use DCS to control production processCorrectly control various types of equipment and troubleshoot problems within the work areaWalk the line when required to prevent spillsMove materials using fork truck or otherPackage and label finished or intermediate goods accurately as requiredComplete cleaning procedures as directedComplete all reporting accuratelyComplete all paperwork accurately and timely HESQ Responsibilities Comply with HSEQ policy and all legal and internal requirementsComply with all standard procedures and work instructions and policiesReview work area for potential losses and report hazards to supervisorReport incidents, accidents and near misses to supervisorParticipate in safety events and programs as offeredIdentify and communicate potential gains or possible improvementsUnderstand and execute Emergency Response procedures to mitigate unplanned events Minimum Qualifications And Education Required Min Years of Experience Three years work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Education and area of focus High school diploma or equivalent Certifications/Trainings ERP (SAP) preferred experience Competencies -Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Good interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft; manufacturing applications a plusSelf motivation and ability to perform multiple tasks at once with minimum supervisionTeam playerTroubleshootingAbility to accurately report information both manually and suing the computerAbility to lift up to 50 lbs HES Requirement – All Jobs Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirementsParticipates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc.
