Chemical Laboratory Technician

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $19.83/hr

About the role

Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists with qualitative and quantitative analyses. Handle sensitive laboratory equipment to analyze samples, conduct tests, and report findings. Design and execute laboratory testing procedures, make observations, and interpret findings. Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify or reject hypotheses using scientific methods. Record test data and results, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in a related discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
• Skill in the use of laboratory equipment.
• Ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports.
• Experience handling, organizing, and storing chemicals and laboratory substances according to safety instructions.
