Chemical Laboratory Technician

About the role

Shift: Full-Time, First Shift, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm with additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the processing of incoming food and feed samples for analytical testing in compliance with all applicable standard operating procedures and quality systems, as well as care and maintenance of equipment associated with this testing.

• Maintain and care for laboratory equipment associated with testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (BS in Chemistry preferred).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Candidates currently living within a commutable distance to New Orleans, LA are encouraged to apply.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new analytical laboratory techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
