Chemical Handler

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and equitable completion of "B/C" level duties.
• Month-end reconciliation for finished products and packaging materials.
• Aid in writing and updating work instructions and procedures for area.
• Identify problems and inefficiencies.
• Respond to off-shift problems.
• Able to process off-shift sales orders if Customer Advocate is not available.
• Work closely with all internal customers.
• Duties include processing paperwork, interacting with shippers, carriers, and employees to ship/receive materials accurately and safely.
• Operate chemical dispensing processes to properly package chemical products by strictly following protocol to generate quality product.
• Use Fork truck
• Duties include offloading raw material inventory, packaging/filling trucks and other product containers, generating proper paperwork for shipping, product labeling, and any other shipping/receiving functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years previous manufacturing / shipping experience, preferably in a chemical environment.
• Microsoft Office, SAP and Lotus Notes experience is a plus.
• CDL is a plus.

Schedule

M-F: 8:00 - 4:00 pm, with OT during week and potentially on weekend.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is between $44,430.00 and $65,164.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
