About the Role

Assists in provision of patient care including patient monitoring, clerical, reception, and public relations duties, and organizational support within the nursing unit. Provides care tailored to the needs and abilities of clients in an outpatient treatment center specializing in Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Responsibilities

  • Input and reporting for DAANES (MN).
  • Assist with orientation for new clients.
  • Observe and collect Urine Analysis samples and package them.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Provide support to staff in coordinating treatment and general care of clients.
  • Perform basic computer tasks using Methasoft software (training provided).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare, medical office, or alcohol and drug treatment center.
  • Must document two years of freedom from chemical abuse problems.
  • Ability to work early morning hours with some weekends.
  • Must be able to work with diverse backgrounds.

Skills

  • Basic computer experience (training provided for Methasoft software).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity.
