Chemical Cleaning Technician-2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations as stated in the OST Safety Manual.
• Proficiently use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Assist in the assembly of etch cleaned parts in a clean room.
• Aid in the development and revision of etch cleaning procedures as needed.
• Maintain well organized manufacturing paperwork.
• Support and help improve our Lean manufacturing practices.
• Work comfortably as part of a team on some tasks, and work comfortably with minimal supervision at other times.
• Work overtime as the production schedule requires.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience working with chemicals in a laboratory manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency to communicate in English including reading and writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Working safely with 55-gallon drum quantities of acids and chemicals in a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize good math skills to keep track of chemical mixing and etch cleaning processes.
• Familiar with risks associated with hazardous chemicals and how to work safely with same.
• Permanent Resident or US Citizen, sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Reliable transportation to the site.

Pay

The estimated hourly range for this full-time position is between $18.00 and $25.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift position with working hours from 3PM to 11:30PM Monday-Friday.
