Responsibilities
- Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them.
- Communicates service breakdowns and team plans in buzz sessions and facilitates opportunity-seeking meetings to consistently involve all team members in service improvements.
- Immediately addresses service breakdowns and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensures that proper sanitation procedures are followed.
- Oversees the maintenance of the pantry area in an organized manner.
- Assists in the control of food & labor costs by eliminating waste and overproduction.
- Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment.
- Communicates with department heads and restaurant management to appropriately plan for business volume.
- Assists in the preparation of food.
- Trains and supervises food prep staff.
- Follows progressive disciplinary program and coordinates with the Labor Relations Department to handle employee problems.
- Responsible for the preparation of food and the activities of food preparation workers during assigned shift.
- Assists cooks as needed.
- Ensures quality production levels are maintained.
- Expresses knowledge of union contract and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in all facets of food preparation.

Pay
Salary range: $58,000 - $65,000
