Chef/ Manager Needed for School Food Service

Duties

• Overseeing the function of the kitchen area.
• Creating menu ideas, while adhering to all NSLP guidelines.
• Preparing for Catering events.
• Ensuring all safety and cleanliness guidelines are being practiced at all times.
• Safeguarding personal protection equipment at all times.
• Food ordering and inventory management.
• Maintaining proficiency in various computer software (Google Docs, Microsoft, etc.).
• Managing staffing needs.

Requirements

• K-12 school food service experience is strongly recommended.
• Familiarity with high volume catering.
• Able to obtain necessary documentation to work in schools.
• Proven cooking experience.
• The ability to travel throughout the school district.

Skills

• Proficiency in various computer software (Google Docs, Microsoft, etc.).
