About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Cook and assemble meals according to established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and policies
• Coordinate food production to align with meal serving times, ensuring high-quality, safe, and visually appealing dishes
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Participate in daily cleaning tasks in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service through positive interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of food procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional care
• Team player with a dedication to supporting colleagues and achieving goals

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
