About the role

Reporting to the store manager, the team leader supports the manager and assistant manager in the daily operations of the store, ensuring impeccable customer service and meeting sales targets. As a key player, the team leader serves as a role model for the team, actively contributing to operational optimization and fostering a collaborative work environment that enhances customer satisfaction and animal well-being.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily store activities, including inventory management, operational efficiency, merchandising, and training.
• Take concrete actions to create a warm customer experience and implement loyalty and acquisition strategies.
• Act as an inspiring leader in customer service.
• Embody and promote Mondou’s values daily, both with customers and the team.
• Lead the team during store openings and closings.
• Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned shifts.
• Serve as an ambassador for our exclusive brands.

Requirements

• A natural and positive leader who enjoys teamwork and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Customer- and results-oriented with experience in customer service.
• Organized, versatile, and comfortable managing multiple priorities; adapts well to change and motivates others to do the same.
• Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting heavy loads.
• Experience in retail or the animal care sector (an asset).
• Effective communicator in French (English is an asset).
