Chef/Cook - Sherwood Oaks

Responsibilities

• Prepare the center plate portion of the menu in large quantities for residents.
• Cleaning assignments to maintain standards of sanitation.
• Stocking supplies.
• Taking/recording food temperatures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of quantity food cooking experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• A degree from an accredited culinary school is a plus.
• Serve Save Certified preferred; must complete within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and calculate figures and amounts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Effective interaction with both residents and team members.
• Excellent teamwork.
• Good attention to detail and time management.

Pay

$18.75/hour - $22.00/hour; Depending on experience, Eligible for up to a $500 Sign on Bonus

Schedule

10 AM – 6:30 PM, 40 hours per week with every other weekend.
