About the role

Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service as per company standards
• Process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Perform cash register operations
• Safeguard company assets
• Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times
• The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store
• Essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
