About the Opportunity:The CHB Coordinator is responsible for processing customs entries accurately and supporting daily brokerage operations on assigned accounts. The role contributes by maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, providing client communication, and building skills toward independent account management. This position supports team success through meeting key performance indicators and continuous learning. 3. Responsibilities:Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts, providing timely updates and customer support.Build and maintain professional client relationships.Address routine client inquiries and escalate complex issues.Process customs entries accurately and timely according to client and regulatory requirements.Review and validate shipment documentation.Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, customer SOPs, and internal procedures.Maintain accurate shipment records and support operational efficiency.Investigate and resolve routine processing issues and documentation discrepancies.Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory agencies.Identify risks and take corrective actions; escalate non-routine issues.Communicate effectively with clients, CBP, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders.Support shipment execution with Compliance and Transportation teams.Participate in team meetings, training, and coaching.Apply feedback to improve performance and technical skills.Ensure files are processed within service standards.Contribute to meeting productivity, quality, and compliance KPIs.Perform other assigned duties. 4. Requirements:1–2 years of experience in customs brokerage, international trade, logistics, or related field.Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and entry processes.Ability to process customs entries and review shipment documentation accurately.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CargoWise or similar systems preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Customer service and relationship management abilities.Problem-solving and analytical thinking.Bachelor''s degree and industry certifications are preferred but not required. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
