Chassis Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Run the lifts and yard dog
• Repair frames and metal truck trailers
• Modify and reconstruct chassis
• Install electric wiring for dome lights and tailgates
• Fitting and assembling components
• Use hand tools and portable power tools
• Spray, brush primer and protective coating on metal/wood
• Welding (Certification required) as needed

Qualifications And Skills

• Valid Driver's License required
• Must be a Certified Welder (Certification must be shown upon time welding test is given)
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Chassis / Trailer Mechanic
• CDL or Lift Operator experience preferred
• Possess strong communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Able to effectively prioritize work
• Able to thrive in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED

Pay and Schedule

Pay Range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

This position is for our Louisville branch at 3837 Fitzgerald Road.
