About the role
We are currently searching for a Chassis Mechanic with MIG & TIG welding experience to join our team at our Garden City, GA location.

Responsibilities
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer
- MIG & TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- Effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
Requirements
Physical Demands
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
Skills
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- MIG & TIG welding experience
- Resources to become a national board ASME certified welder
Pay
$20.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm.
