Chase Driver

About the role

Mahoney Environmental is seeking a Chase Driver to join their growing team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate must have excellent driving and maneuvering skills, a valid CDL "A" license with a tanker endorsement, and 3 years of CDL driving experience. The position requires operating various types of trucks, filling in for other drivers, and adhering to DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily route schedule
• Trained to cover multiple business needs including Chase, UCO, EGT, Bulk and other driving as needed
• Absorb and unload trucks
• Clean up waste spills and overflows
• Change out lids and wheels that are in need of replacement
• Swap out 55-gallon barrels and deliver/swap/remove tanks at customer sites
• Comply with all D.O.T. rules and regulations and communicate status to appropriate supervisor
• Pre and post trip inspections reporting in a timely manner any malfunctions and issues to supervisor
• Maintain an acceptable driving record per company policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid CDL “A” License with a Tanker Endorsement
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to at least 100 pounds
• Good driving record with safety risk rating within Mahoney Environmental acceptable standards

$29.50 - 31.50 hourly starting rate
