About the Practice

Dr. Charles Darragh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and dermatologist specializing in procedural dermatology and the treatment of skin cancer. With a passion for empathetic patient care and continuous learning, Dr. Darragh is dedicated to providing comprehensive skin cancer care in collaboration with patients.

Originally from South Carolina and Georgia, Dr. Darragh has deep family roots in the region dating back over 100 years. He chose to practice in Greenville because he has always lived in the South and truly believes the Upstate is the best place to work, live, and raise a family.

Dr. Darragh's clinical interests focus on Mohs surgery and the treatment of skin cancer, including surgical and nonsurgical options. The majority of his clinical time is spent performing Mohs surgery followed by cosmetic reconstructions using techniques such as linear closures, skin flaps, skin grafts, and second intention healing.

He specializes in treating basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, melanoma in situ, atypical/dysplastic nevi, actinic keratosis, and other rare skin cancers.

Background

Dr. Darragh decided to pursue a medical career in high school because it blends patient interaction, leadership, the ability to positively impact patients' lives, and lifelong learning. He chose dermatology and Mohs surgery as a career because he was excited to deliver definitive treatment daily and was impressed by how dermatologic patients are so invested in their own care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Darragh enjoys quality time with his family, avidly follows UGA football and the Atlanta Braves, plays golf, and keeps up with the latest TV shows. He and his wife have been together since high school and are proud parents to a son and a daughter.
