About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) oversees high-quality, patient-centered care on a fast-paced progressive care unit, coordinating all unit functions in collaboration with the management team. The unit is a 24-bed unit caring for acutely ill patients with complex needs, including Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, and Critical Care cases, fostering a team-oriented, critical-thinking environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, customize, and deliver care
- Assist with admission and discharge processes
- Support improved patient outcomes
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff
- Assist with staff scheduling
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- RN diploma
- Completion of Advanced and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment
