Job Summary

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of a department of frontline nurses caring for patients.
• Supporting fellow nurses in reaching their full potential.
• Advocating for your fellow nurses as you support them in achieving their goals.
• Direct supervision of personnel practicing on Nursing Units.
• Making patient care assignments and evaluating assignments.
• Facilitating patient flow and directly observing staff performance.
• Proactively matching existing resources to ensure patient care needs are met.
• Communicating personnel-related concerns to the Unit Manager.
• Using a logical, systematic approach to problems and problem-solving.
• Facilitating Patient Experience best practices on the unit (hourly rounding, etc.).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• 2 years RN experience, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license, KY, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
