About the role
Join the Emergency Department team as a Charge RN, providing leadership in a 16-bed unit handling urgent and emergent medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Cooking up shift assignments based on patient acuity
- Supervising and mentoring nursing staff
- Oversight of patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Serving as a clinical resource during high-risk or emergency situations
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- PREFERRED: Associate or Bachelor's degree
- REQUIREMENT: At least one year of clinical experience
- Current unrestricted RN licensure in South Carolina
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Advanced specialty certifications and involvement in professional organizations are preferred
