About the Role

The Charge Nurse oversees nursing care within a unit, supervising staff, assisting with staffing, and supporting organizational goals. The role includes participating in developing care standards, policies, and quality assurance activities, while providing direct patient care and acting as an educator for staff and patients. Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee unit operations
• Assist with staffing and resource allocation

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Nursing diploma or equivalent (baccalaureate degree preferred)
• Minimum of three years of RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TNCC
