Charge Registered Nurse

Role: Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and achieve clinical objectives. Assigns, educates, monitors, and evaluates nursing/support staff during shifts.Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and ensures appropriate care delivery.Collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes.Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.Responds to patient care concerns and manages them through established channels.May contribute to hiring, training, and staff development.Performs duties with safety awareness and adherence to protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and at least one year of RN experience. Physical & Certification Requirements: Proficiency in communication, standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and other physical activities. Holds valid BLS certification and RN licensure specific to the work location (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin). Key Duties: Leadership in staffing, patient care assessment, collaboration, evaluation, and addressing care concerns. Night shift role in a hospital setting.
