Charge Registered Nurse

Role Overview: Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives. Key Responsibilities Assigns, educates, monitors, and evaluates nursing and support staff during shifts.Assesses patient care needs and develops appropriate care assignments.Collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes.Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.Responds to patient care complaints and manages through established channels.May participate in hiring, training, and staff evaluations.Maintains a constant state of alertness and safety.Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.At least one year of registered nurse experience.Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills. Physical & Certification Requirements: Constant speech, standing, walking, and data entry; frequent lifting, vision, hearing, and smell use; and occasional patient lifting and movement. Valid BLS-HCP and RN licenses are required, with specific state licensing as applicable.
