Charge Nurse RN - Sign On Bonus

$10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Schedule

• Full-time days: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Full-time nights: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee.
• Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff, ensuring continuity of care.
• Serve as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs/STNAs.
• Plan, assign, and direct work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepare work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receive staffing-related calls and arrange replacements as needed.
• Transfer employees among units per staffing demands.
• Complete performance evaluations and provide input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjust break schedules and resolve staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during the absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
